Doral Golf Club, The

Beautiful challenging lay out. Although not very long, shot making is key on this tough 9 hole course. Course conditions was decent, friendly staff from the pro shop check-in to course maintenance were friendly. Not a bad place to venture to if you're in the area.

9 hole Course is run down and looked poorly maintained. Also has jets flying over every 3 minutes or so. The railroad tie barrier on 10th t box is in really poor shape. Men’s room in clubhouse was dirty. Lots of choices to play ball in Westchester, choose someplace else.

Probs shouldn't play it. Lots of water. In your face stuff. Narrow. Great fun though. Greens were furry but it's early season. It's a fun nine hole track. Good value for the money.

This course has everything to challenge your game .

It was so cold weather.I didn’t enjoy to play golf.

Waste of time. Had a tee time for 8:15. I thought after getting off work id go and enjoy a quick round. We were booked for 2 people and no one was there to check us in. There was another gentlemen waiting and he said he had to leave to go to work. We waited until 840 and left. Whomever was responsible for opening up should be terminated. A complete lack of others time and no call to golfnow reserves to apologize for the disaster. Usually a great place to play but this was aggravating and poor customer service to say the least.

Great course to play if there is no waiting. Today that was the case. Moved around the course with minimal waits. Greens in great shape, some leaves and branches from wind. Worth the time and money.

Doral is a 9 Hole Gem located in Rye Brook NY. The Staff is excellent and very accommodating. Golf professionals who can also help you with all your golfing needs. The course is a Robert Von Hagge design. He designed more than 250 courses world wide and you want to play this one. Very challenging you don't want to be off the fairways. Fairways are in great condition and the greens are smooth and fast with lots of movement . You better come to play ! You will enjoy the beauty of the course and the wild life. Only bad thing is the airport is close by and Jet blue buzzes the 5th green. lol.

Playing the first time here, the good thing was it was 9 holes and your could play it twice and get to improve your score. However, it is one tough course, thanks to water in play on 7 holes. It was a great time playing with my son, and the weather was perfect. So we had to forget about the difficulty of the course.

The course conditions were not great: fairways need better maintenance. Greens were good. Tees, messy.

All in all, tough course. You need to keep the driver in the bag on most holes, and focus on accuracy. I will go back with a vengeance!

Always takes a well thought out plan of attack, was paired with a member and two other great guys. I had the usual great time at Doral and shot an 81.
