nice value , fairways very good ,greens fair ,people very nice in pro-shop

We played this course for 80 bucks on a Sunday morning and couldn't be more disappointed. The staff was friendly and the course layout was challenging along with the undulating greens but the condition of the course was not up to par for $80! Rocks in many of the bunkers, patchy greens that did not roll true and poor yardage markings. I saw other reviews mentioned that the place was possibly being bought out. Not sure if that's true but the condition of the course does raise suspicion. The course needs a bit of work. For half the price the course may be worth it but not for the price we paid.

Theres nothing like playing a fast round on a great course. If one needs 10 practice swings a shot go to the range! Too bad course is closing for a solar farm .

For a course scheduled to close - the greens were terrific! They rolled true and were very quick as they haven't been bunched yet. Tee to green was very nice although the bunkers were left off the mantainemce list. Will be sad to see this course close at the end of this season.

Course is dirty, not kept up with.

Though the pace of the game was slow but it takes patience to conquer this course once the tall grass is up! Cause lots of golfers love this course! You got to be spot on your shots to make a good score! There are 2 short par 4's but it takes guts and precision to hit its greens. I love this course, I been playing this course for 6 years and I kept coming back to conquer this course. I love it's layout and the fast greens!!!

Basically I was really excited to play with my regular 3some at tallgrass. Never played the course before and I thought it was a great course. No it wasn't at all. Course is in bad shape. My buddy played here when he was a kid and said its as if they just stopped trying to maintain it. Sounds about right since they are selling to a solar farm. I wouldn't play here again it's not worth the money

The tall grass wasn't up yet but the greens were fast, fast fast. A great challenge for a 16 handicapper.

Less than 4 hours mid day. GREAT!

Course was in surprisingly decent shape for March. Greens rolled fast and breaks were subtle but there. No tall grass up yet, bunkers were rocky but had enough sand in them. I've played here many times and always enjoyed it and its staff. Maintenance was always done well, however They r selling it for a solar farm and they were preparing during our round. A shame to lose a good public course.

It's wide open out there this time of year!! There's not much "tallgrass" to deal with at all, actually. Very hard to lose a ball out there. Greens were rolling pretty well and the course is in good shape. Will definitely be going back. The staff is very nice and accommodating ..

I HAD TO WAIT 2 HOURS FOR THE FROST DELAY. THEY HAD EVERYONE START OFF THE BACK 9, BUT THEY LET ME GO OFF ON 11 SO I PLAYED IN LESS THEN 2 HOURS. THE COURSE WAS BETTER THEN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE THIS TIME OF YEAR. I WOULD GO AGAIN.

great weather for dec 15 gald you guys r open a tue morn no crowd three and a half hr round course in fine shape I am an average golfer lookin to enjoy and improve some golf price was right no conplaints c u again

This is one of best courses you can play anywhere. So many rumors of their closing , it would be a shame to lose such a gem. Hope to see you again my friend!!

Very very slow. A few groups with bad etiquette slowed the whole thing down to a halt, would have been Probably nearly 6 hours if I'd stayed. The course needs to police this better and move people along. Wasted money and very disappointed.

Interesting links style layout. Target golf. Greens in excellent condition considering lateness of the season.

noticed 3 groups of very slow, meticulous, players on one of the holes , marking two inch putts, and stopping on the next tee box to pay off their bets

then they ALL CONGREGATED ON ANOTHER TEE BOX

CRAZY !!!

all players behind them could not possibly get in their entire rounds and or enjoy the golf course

have a better policy and enforce it

these types of groups should be told a pace of play is in effect and if they did not keep up they would be asked to get off the course

all clubs should do the same

this is not fair to have these types of groups who have no consideration for others, HOLD UP the entire course behind them

This course is very nice with challenging traps that need sand the only down fail I found when playing. The fairways well kept with some elevation and required some ball control, greens are well done and is the most difficult part of playing both tough and fun.

Would have enjoyed tall grass but wind and cold made for harsh conditions will return
