Doral Golf Club, The

Really liked this course. The layout and grounds are beautiful, and you really have to think your way around, and take no shot for granted! Lots and lots of sand and water, but if you're patient and place your shots, and know when to settle for a boggy, you'll like playing here too. Just booked another round for this weekend. Wish I had played it sooner. Will definitly be in the rotation for next season. Only downside was the bar/lounge was closed for the season.

Fun and challenging 9 hole course with lots of water, bunkers and mounds. Greens, tees and fairways were very nice. Bunkers need more sand as they were firm and had many pebbles in them that end up on the greens. Greens have a lot of slope so you need to hit it to the right spot. No walking allowed. Good size practice green and also a practice bunker. Full length driving range hitting from mats, but range balls are expensive, $10 for 30 balls.

Played 9, would definitely like to come back and go around twice for a full 18. Lots of water and blind shots, what it lacks in distance it more than makes up for in challenge.

Fairly challenging course with a lot of hills, water hazards and mucho bunkers. Overall good shape.

Not a secret, but its a 9 hole executive style course at the end of the day. Not worth coming up from the city. Nice if your local and want a quick 9. It is well kept.

Excellent 9 hole track. placement of shots very important as many holes are tight and you are rewarded by managing your approaches. Usually very easy to get out and play. Greens were well manicured and consistent green to green. Some water to deal with and a few fairways had some very damp areas. The par 5 5th is reachable in 3, but the green is sloped away from your approach. Getting it to stop on green is difficult depending upon hole placement.

Only down side is it's on the flight path of Westchester Airport. So you will have a few flights overhead during busy periods. easy enough to get used to a little noise.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

The course has many interesting features - makes you think as to best approach. The only issue I had was that the greens were aerated so putting was difficult. The course is very well maintained - fairways were in great shape. While only a short nine hole layout it certainly was challenging.

Golf now price was good, but they have a special for 70$ for a bucket at the range and a sleeve of proV's. Conditions were good, they were airerating but the crew worked fast and weren't a nuisance. Staff was great especially the starter. Had read reviews talking about bad pace of play being a 9 hole, but had no issue with people starting their round while I was making the turn. It was a perfect day for golf and was busy at the course and I had no issue.

first thought came to my mind was we were in florida without the gators. homes and trees all around.fun course that is well maintained. need to be accurate on this short course. tight fairways and small greens. if you want to sharpen your game ..play here.

Great course! A very interesting set up as you have to wind between condominium housing to arrive at a few different tee boxes, but nonetheless an outstanding round. The greens were rolling exceptionally well for a public course. Overall a great outing, will play again!

Haven't played here in 10+ years and was not disappointed. Staff is great; everyone from Ryan in the pro shop to the course crew and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. Course is in great shape and you don't mind playing same nine twice. Excellent value!

You can always plan having a great day of golf! I recommend this course highly.

It was the first time to play in Doral, and my son & I played 9-holes teice. It was great time to us, especially my son was so happy for the well- maintained course. Doral is recommendable course, I believe.

Maintained as though it were fully private. Fairways and roughs fair but difficult, greens extremely hard. Lots of fun holes and you don't mind playing the 9 2x around. Pace of play was excellent.

Played the course for the first time and found it to be just challenging enough and in very good conditions. We played on a Sunday and it was a little slow, had to wait on 4 holes.
The staff were all very nice.
We would definitely play again.

This was my very first time playing this course. It is very challenging which I like. The starter was such a nice/personable person. I overall enjoyed playing even though the weather was kind of iffy.

I will definitely return to play another round.

Great course.Conditions were fantastic. LOTS OF WATER but had a great time...Got a $24 7:30 T time. Can't wait to go back
