The Vineyards Golf Club

This is a challenging course even though it is short 36 / 34. The layout is not always easy. There is a lot of tall grass all around. No trees come into play.It can be windy which adds to the challenge. You need to keep the ball on the fairway. The Greens are difficult and fast. My biggest complaint is that no one fixes their divots on the green.I spent a lot of time while wait for others to putt fixing divots. Shame on the members! This course is down the road from Cherry Creek and the Woods course which are much longer. But this course is worth playing.

A short course made challenging by constant wind, narrow fairways lined by fescue and strategically placed sand traps. Greens are fast and undulating. Course is always well maintained.

Upon entering pro shop your immediately greeted and welcomed.....Explained rules of course and had bag boy unload clubs and set you up on cart...The course was fabulous and all tee boxes were clean of broken tees....Ball washer machines all functioning...And the views spectacular...If your looking for a great round of golf with buddies..look no further...you'll be glad you golfed here and will want to return....

I read some of the reviews that it was a short, tight course, with sloping greens. Apt description. As a 1st timer, would have helped to have a drawing of each hole, or key distances to reach or clear bunkers, for which there were many. Hit drivers, woods, 4 irons off the tee,, and I found when I hit into the fescue, if I had a good idea of where it went I was able to find the ball and hit out. Anyway, golf course was in good shape and had a lot of interesting challenges. Looking forward to playing it again.

Played for the first time. Course was nice and staff friendly. Will never play again however. On 14th green (we were playing behind a 4some so had nowhere to go) we got confronted by members on the tee box because they felt we were putting too slow. They started yelling and cursing at us, and after we responded they said "it's our course you're lucky to be here". One of them dropped their club and charged after us looking to fight us. We told him to get back and hit his tee shot and he eventually did. Then on top of it all they had the nerve to call the clubhouse on us. Like we did something wrong. I was looking to become a member at a course too so I will cross this one off my list if that's how they treat people. Horrible representation. Will never go back. Have fun at your "presigious" track.

This course is tougher than you think -- the fescue is abundant and punishing, and there are no flats putts on the greens, so the seemingly short yardage is not a fair judge of the difficulty of the course. Not for handicappers of 20 or above.
Staff is super friendly and accommodating, and the course is very well maintained, so the premium price is appropriate.

Previously played as a guest of a member. Nice that the course was open to non-members at a somewhat competitive price with other courses in the area. Very much an enjoyable round.

First time at this well maintained links course did not disappoint. Premium is on hitting a straight ball, and the greens have challenging contours and good speed. It was in beautiful condition, we were able to play in less that 3.5 hours, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had lunch when we came in and the food was good and reasonably priced.

Took 11 guys to this course for a family outing, played Montauk Downes the day before so most of the young guys had to put aside their long stuff . Course as expected was narrow and tight, saving grace you could hit out of the fescue. Not much water but considerable sand making the greens harder. Consensus of my group was not to play again some felt not long enough others it was too planned.

Lovely club and hard course. It was an extremely windy day and with hardly a tree on the course, it made an already challenging course, very challenging. Would love to try again on not such a windy day.

You had better be straight. Once on the fescue dial 911. Greens undulate, fast and true. I'm 72 and a 16 handicap. Played 5600 yards with two friends. The fairways in great condition and narrow. This golf course is not about length. Staff friendly, informative and helpful. All in all a good experience.
