Pine Hills Country Club
About
Pine Hills Country Club sprawls cross 165 acres of Long Island's protected Pine Barrens. The golf course plays long at over 7,000 yards from the back tees but it is a playable and fair test. It is challenging as well with quite a bit of water and sand coming into play throughout. Towering, mature pines also line narrow fairways. One of the most difficult holes is the par-4 11th. This dogleg left is one of the many holes with water and it also features a green that is severely sloped from back to front. While the golf course is the main attraction, Pine Hills is also known for having the area's best public practice facility. The club boasts a driving range with target greens, a putting green with a 9-hole practice course, and a chipping green with a greenside sand trap.

Love this place
Fair long and fun course I'll come here to play all the time
Excellent course
The course is in excellent condition for mid April greens we're fast and tricky - the price was just right.
Good course
Nice course ; descent lay out
They need to move the players along
Took one hour to play 3 holes since everyone was going around looking for balls
Finish 13 holes and have to leave since the weather was cold
Good time slow group in front of us
Their was so many people this past saturday w the nice weather, you had to expect that though. Had a great time, always great time when we go here.
Lonely round
Booked round at Pine Hills and in their defense it was Easter Sunday. The required amount of players was one. I arrived 20 minutes early and the threesome I was informed went out 15 minutes ago. The round was enjoyable but I had to play through several groups skipping holes as I made my way around the course. My question is, does the course have the any responsibility to honor the configuration of the tee time reservation?
Great course pace of play :(
Nice course good shape for ny this time of the year.pace of play over 5 hours .sat play very very slow.
Wide open course
Pine Hills is a nicely laid out course . The long sprawling greens are forgiven enough to give a beginners and intermediates a chance to compete.
Overall had a good day
Pine Hills
Great course and greens were bumpy but it's early in the season. Always keep the course in great shape. Staff is great and friendly. Definely a course to play on your list.
Great Course !!!! Exceptional Staff Too
This course is always in great shape. The maintenance crew is awesome. Great staff at the Pro Shop & Jimmy the Pro/ CEO makes that happen with a Smile. Course plays true. Pace of play is great during the week. Like this course so much joining the league this season.
Hope you enjoy this course as much as I do.
Good luck & hope you bring in some pars and birdies
Pine Hills Country Club is Awesome!!!!
This course plays true and is very well maintained. Great set up and pace of play is good.....especially weekdays. Weekends are busy but pace moves well then too. Get there early and practice your putting or Hit the Driving Range and they have a great area to practice your chip and putt too.
The more you play there the more you grow to Love It!!!!!
The pro-shop staff is very knowledgeable and truly Friendly.
Played two times this month of February and the course is in great shape already.
Looking forward to a great season ahead.
No s
Was a single player, no starter, got smashed between two foursomes, was going nowhere and my cart was dying, quit on the 3rd hole.
Good value. Course in great shape.
Not a negative thing to say. Greens rolling very well and true. Fairways in excellent shape. Leaves were an issue on some holes but it was after a couple of windy days and couldn't be helped. At the end of the day, a couple of kids were seen on three wheeled motorized bikes whizzing around the back nine. We told the shop and they responded as well as the property maintenance staff to chase them off. Looked like they had hit one green recently and was repaired. Saw two military aircraft flying low and slowly crossing the 6th fairway which was interesting. This course always less windy than any other in the area. Had the course to ourselves starting at noon.
Great course
Great experience at Pine Hills. Staff was very friendly, grass driving range! Short chipping range and putting green perfect for warming up. Course was in great condition.
Pines Hills GCC
Great golf course. The greens were great for this time of year. The maintenance crew was great blowing the leaves off the course for this time of year. They helped you find your golf ball. Course is in great shape this time of year. It's a full. Challenge course . JC resteraunt good was great.
Well kept
At this time of year with the leaves coming down you lose a lot of golf balls the maintenance crew there has done a very good job of keeping the course clear
Great experience
Where to begin...how about the exceptional practice area. Has everything you need to help your game. Tremendous putting green, chipping area, bunkers and grass driving range. The course itself, tee to green is in perfect condition as always.
Finish it off at JC's , which could possibly be one of the best restaurants on Long Island.
