Not bad for 1st time in ‘23
Nice day for first time this year. Greens were surprisingly fast.

One of the best public courses in area
Sprain lake is a great public course for the lower westchester area. It’s always in very good shape, and the course layout is fun and interesting for golfers of all levels. It’s admittedly not a long course, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. And unlike a lot of courses, it adds difficulty without cramming holes into the middle of a forrest.

I play this course at least once a week all summer long, great staff and course was always in great shape!!!

Once again dissatisfied with tee time was way off. 1/2 hour wait at every hole. Always same line frost in the morning backed up everything. Truth is too many people booked.

It was a wonderful play. Due to the Fall time there were a lot of leaves in the course. So I lost 6 balls. But it's tolerable. Overall, I had a good time and made a score of 94.

Get a cart person
No course food and beverage cart was disappointing. The 9th hole stand was closed before 4:30 when we got to it.

Sprain Lake
Decent course, greens are usually spotty. Excellent restaurant, staff is pleasant. The other Westchester courses are better conditioned.

Good value, nice course, slow play, bumpy greens
The course does have some nice challenging holes and has some nice water views. Cost was pretty good considering the cart was included for $59. The greens were in rough shape with nobody repairing divots so making putts was difficult. Ranger was only present on the first 2 holes and then never saw them again, would have been needed as groups ahead were playing exceptional slow.

Slow slow
If your looking for a Slow round this is the place. 5.5 hours with a 12:15 tee time. Never saw a ranger all day.
Worst greens I’ve played on all year. Not cut or rolled and very beat up.
