This is a course that opened in 2008 on the site of the former Katsbaan Golf Club. Barry Jordan designed the Lazy Swan. Hal Purdy designed Katsbaan, which opened in 1990. Sawyerkill, another Hal Purdy design, opened in Saugerties in 1968 and closed following the 1984 season. The land is now used by HITS. Lazy Swan was due to become an 18-hole facility in the fall of 2011.
