A great course that’s fun to play. Excellent condition considering how early in the season.

Played two days after very heavy rains so the course had some wet spots. Early in the year, with terrible weather this spring, but the course is well maintained and meticulously cared for. Great people in the pro shop and restaurant. A beautiful place to play.

I don’t usually write reviews but this course is worth every penny I paid. Got a late season special and for November it looked great, can’t wait to play there again, especially when it’s the summer.

This course is one of my favorite courses in the area. The level of challenge is perfect for the amateur golfer. Course conditions are great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there is a laid-back attitude that makes for a lovely day.

From something about the green being very fast n not easy to read.

1st time playing here. Won't be the last. We'll worth the 45 minute drive. Staff very friendly.

Course was in excellent condition. Greens were very fast. Lots of putts breaking about 3 inches from the hole which I thought was a little unfair. Other than that, I will most certainly be back.

Course is beautiful and well maintained. The Ranger seemed to push the non members on the course. Even telling myself and golf partners that we needed to improve. We looked for a golf ball 100 yards off the green, while the foursome in front of us were still on the green. Totally unnecessarily to the point of harassment. He should have been three or four groups ahead of us pushing the groups slowing down play. Very disappointed in a course we normally play. May be a while before I go back or recommend. Dan H

My friends and I love this course. It's an hour away from where we live and we still love the opportunity to get up there and play 18. Now that the tee times are dropping into the $40 range with time to get 18 holes in... you'll be seeing more of us. My one buddy is the most particular about where we play, and this is the only course out of 23 that we've played in the CT and NY areas this season, which he has said he would be a full time member at. It's challenging, well kept, long enough... it's just great. the key is not overpaying to play, and at around $40 this is a great value. The food was fantastic as well, I got the pulled pork flatbread which was truly incredible.

What a fantastic Saturday to play golf after dropping our son off at college nearby. I read the reviews that described this as a public private course - -and that was spot on. Greens had just been aerated so a bit bumpy but it was fantastic. 78% is the right temp for this course because there is no shade. Quick front nine and longer back nine. Very enjoyable.

If you want to play links golf, this is the place.

the markers from 200, 150, and 100 yards to green were very difficult to find in fairways with most of them covered with grass....

This place was well-worth the 70 minute drive compared to what is available to the public player in Bergen and Rockland counties. The greens were as fast as any private club i have played this year. The course, especially the last 5 holes ( 14-18), is really challenging. You better get off to a good start on the front nine and holes 10-13, because par is hard-earned down the closing stretch.
After the round, a very nice bar area upstairs in the clubhouse with a friendly staff.

One of our favorite stops, always in great shape. Best greens in the area. Staff is the best. Really fun to play when the wind blows!!!!

The course is in excellent condition. Great layout. Friendly staff. Slow play on the day in question, but in the past I have not had much issue with pace of play. Grade A overall.
