Course lay out on front 9 is very traditional. The back nine is up and down mountains.VERY unusual. If you want that, its your cup of tee.If not, stay away. We (group of 16) where taken by the strick and unfriendly rules and tone of pro shop. We have taken 3 day golf trips every sept for 12 years.Usually, courses are inviting our business. Not here. As we filed in sat morning to warm up,putt and hit driving range,we where told we could not pay until all 16 golfers where present. We stood in the misting rain for 30 minutes as the 4 car loads arrived. We could not hit the range,as it was across the street, and where told you needed a car to get there. We couldn't hit,as we had to wait so we didn't slow down check in/payment once our last car arrived. (showering in condo.Once all arrived,we where then informed we had to sign in two at a time based on how we where carting with. Since the pro shop was not condusive for 16 wet golfers, this slowed the process even further as 16 men shouted back and forth for partners. Regarding the course. The biggest complaint every golfer had(16) was that the cups hadn't been moved in several days. . . . .It was apparent by the grass that was growing around the perimenter of the cup.So much so that each gruop had 12-15 lip outs,as the ball would roll around and out of the cup as opposed to up to the edge and fall into the cup.Later that evening, over dinner the grouo recounted 52 different putts that it had happened too. That with the snarcky attitude the clown and widmill set up on the back 9 will keep us from ever going back to the double black . . . . . .
