Great course
Great course, fairways and greens were in good conditions. Halfway house wasn’t open because of COVID concerns, but everything else was top notch.
Good Value
Best course for the value. Others charge more and they don't compare to the Links at Erie Village.
Enjoyable
Tee boxes were good fairways great greens very good fast but receptive, nice layout, bunkers need improvement to get to the quality of the rest of the course. Will return
Great course and very friendly staff
Played this course several time the past couple of weeks. The staff is always very friendly and accomodating. The course fairways are always in great condition as are the fast greens. Course has been a bit wet what with all the rain, but still very playable--although it has been cart path only recently. And you can't beat the $13 (plus tax) golfnow price. But you'd better bring some extra balls as water is in play all over this course. A creek runs through the hole course and plenty of ponds to contend with. A nice bonus are the carts with Garmin GPS. But recommend you make sure the GPS is working as some don't turn on.. I strongly recommend Erie Village.
Fun hard course with lots of water
Very fun and challenging, lots of water. Probably the best greens in the area on a public course. It does get really wet after heavy rain and in the spring, but they have nice paved cart paths and will do path only. Really good and well maintained practice facility.
Beautiful day
No bag person at bag drop, empty pro shop, no big deal but expected more from such a nice course. Most important the staff was friendly tee box’s, fairways and greens were excellent Except women’s tees many times were in fairways in front of hazards. Again no bode all next time I will have my wife tee off on front part of gold tees where red is supposed to be We had a great day and I highly recommend this course
Pleasant Course
Well-maintained venue with a pleasant staff. Worth a visit.
Challenging course
This is an excellent course. Water in play on many holes. Very nice layout. The only issue today was the course was saturated from the constant rain lately. Cart path only, lot of soggy turf. Greens were in excellent shape.
One of the best conditioned public courses in area
Course in great condition from well kept overseeded fairways through very nice and fast greens. Better bring you A putting game as the greens are tough but fair. Only negative are most bunkers are mostly without sand with a lot of rocks and stone pebbles throughout them. Staff is very friendly. Love the Garmin GPSs one the carts but some don't turn on, so make sure the cart you choose and a working one. Overall a nice golfing experience. Also, also, Jack Conger the PGS head pro gives excellent lessons and extremely friendly and helpful. If you are looking to improve or tweek you game I highly recommend Jack.
Great Course
Played a round today, which is after their member-guest weekend and the course was in great shape! Fairways are short and well maintained. Some tee boxes are a little chewed up. Greens are in GREAT shape. Always get a true roll and they’re fast.
Well worth the $
We paid $25 to tee off around 4 PM on a Saturday. Well, well worth the $25. We played the tips. Very challenging. Course was in great shape. A couple of funky tee shots from the tips -- odd angles at the fairway -- but other than that we really enjoyed it and look forward to playing the course again next time we're in Syracuse.
Great Course
Greens roll great. They are very quick . Placement off the tee is key
