Great deal for a Saturday
Had a great day of golf with 3 buddies. Highly recommend the course
Perfect Day
The course was in great shape even with all the recent rain in the North Country. My wife and got there a little early but the staff accommodated us and got us off before our time . There also was no problem booking through Golf Now, handed them our reservations and they gave us the keys to the golf cart and a plus is the carts are all electric .
The course fairways and greens are in top shape and seem to improve every year that we go back
I also golf in a group of four and St. Lawrence is one of our favourite courses in Northern N.Y.
Great course.
Excellent course and great staff. Course was a bit wet but still very playable. Will definitely go back.
Great course
Great course for the money. Love the layout. Challenging but reasonable.
Great Value
This is a great course and the staff are so accommodating. Nice balcony facing hole 18 where you can sit and have a beverage while watching the other golfers finish.
Damp Spring Conditions
I flew home to play in a charity golf tournament and had to revisit my old home course. I truly enjoy the layout of this golf course. It is very scoreable if you are putting the ball in play. Given the early conditions, it was cart path only and quite wet. Nick in the shop was very helpful. Highly recommend checking this course out as it is easily one of my favorites! Even among all of the courses I play now in Orlando...
Accommodates all levels of play
We play this course many times during the year. Regardless of your handicap, you will find a tee box (5 in all) that meets your level of expertise. Our group has beginners, older players, etc. We are never disappointed with the condition of the course.
A great place to enjoy golf
Staff is extremely friendly as were the members we met. The course is just fun and very pleasing to the eye. The tees are well laid out to add challenge and enjoyment. The fees are very reasonable considering the course conditions. A definite must to play if it is within your travelling preference. We would not hesitate going back.
Instant Classic
I was a member at SLU before moving to Florida for three years. One of my favorite courses I have ever played. I knew every nook and cranny of the course. I definitely miss playing this course and whenever I am home visiting I have to make a stop. Always in great shape and could play challenging depending on the wind. So many great memories on this track. Can't go wrong if you are looking for an affordable golf course in the Canton area.
Top Tier In The North Country
mature tree lined course that offers a variety of shot-making; number 13 offers a fine view of the university and number 14 is a classic redan design hole; condition of tees ,greens and fairways is good; bunkers are well placed (although some are in need of additional sand); many rate this course the second best in the North Country and best in St. Lawrence County; this village has another good 18 hole course called Partridge Run and Best Western has food and lodging adjacent to St. Law. Univ. Course.
A challenge to all
This course has a little bit of everything. It's well taken care of and the greens are almost always in great shape. Pricing is reasonable. Great place to play.
