Hot Day in the Course
Fairways not in good condition Ranger and Management should enforce cart path ruling during rain conditions.
Greens are to slow.
Always disappointed playing here
Shame on me for coming back here!
Once arriving, we were told there was a 15 min back up. No surprise since the last time we played here, it was a 5 and a half hour round on 4th of July.
We decided to putt on the practice putting green and of course there were no markers to act as holes and the surface was like “shag carpet”(according to someone else who was also upset with the conditions)
Once a foursome returned their carts, we were able to get out on the course. For some reason, starting at the very first tee, and the trend continued throughout the course, there were no markers to tee off from on a majority of the holes, especially the female tees. (not only the ones that are under construction).
To add to these issues, the very same putting green issues we had on the practice green by the clubhouse, were consistent with every hole on the course. How can any golfer play their game accurately with crappy greens?
Because of the construction on multiple holes, you’re losing the length of the course yet they are still charging the same high prices. Luckily, I used one of the deals of the day but if I paid the usual $80 they charge for this course, I would be even more disgusted like many of the people on the course who also voiced their opinion as we sat and waited at every hole.
To top it off, it’s more insult to injury, that they insist on a $3 parking fee. No other queens golf course charges parking fees. Like you’re not taking enough money from your patrons for sub par conditions. PLEASE be better!
Clear view
2 hours 45 mins for 9 holes
Skipped two holes and played last few
It was brutal
Disappointing
The course was in very poor condition. Many tee box’s under repair. They have you teeing off on grass. Ground is hard as a rock. Need a hammer to get tee in the ground. The pace of play was terribly slow. Greens were very dry and slow. The carts are old, ripped up seats and brakes that are constantly sticky. Course is filled with novice golfers. Most can’t keep the ball on the fairway they’re playing. It was a hot mess of golfers. That said I played very well. I found the course to be very expensive for the conditions that it’s in. To add insult to injury they charged an additional $3 parking fee. I wouldn’t play it again and don’t recommend to anyone else. Certainly not worth the money.
Attack of the hornets
A couple of tee boxes finally being fixed under repair so def play from the blues… they must have killed some hornets nests cuz there were like 500 of them all over the course. I would wait at least a month to play here again
TERRIBLE… GO ELSEWHERE
This course charging 80 dollars, plus a 3 dollar parking fee, is one of the highest crimes this world will ever see. Almost every tee box on the front 9 is entirely dug up and under construction, making an already lackluster golf course 50/75 yards shorter on half the holes. There are several fairways where, and I am unsure if this is done deliberately for the added challenge, a well struck tee shot down the center poses you the question “is my life worth retrieving this ball.” I say this because this golf course is in the midst of an almost apocalyptic hornet infestation, where getting to your golf ball means driving/walking through HUNDREDS of these death bearing creatures. The golf carts may as well be horse and carriage because of how archaic and terrible they are, and to boot the staff in the pro shop is awfully rude. I will NEVER play here again, even if they were to boast free rounds of golf and it was the last golf course on this green earth. Please, do yourself a favor, and golf elsewhere!
The worst golf course I’ve ever played
I don’t know where to even begin, but if you are thinking about playing here please let my review dissuade you into playing somewhere else. The price, given the condition of the course, is absolutely bananas. There are several fairways where you are rewarded for a drive down the center by having to decide whether or not it is worth fighting thru HUNDREDS of hornets to go retrieve/hit your ball. I have never seen anything like it. It is downright dangerous, and a legitimate infestation. The tee boxes on the front are all under extensive repair, making all of the holes 75/100 yards shorter. The price should be adjusted until they can offer a legitimate, playable, golf course. The lady in the pro shop was wildly rude, and with no range on site, this course offers literally nothing but a few dead straight, 300 yard par 4s, some of which again aren’t even playable. GO ELSEWHERE.
Tee boxes being fixed
Finally they fixing tee boxes…. Problem is the temp tees make this course feel so much worse…
So many yelling from golfers to yell at golfers from taking their ball…. Fyi 80% time they are hitting/taking their own ball you just too far to see
Don't go on the weekends
group ahead of us could not have been slower, it took 3 hours to finish out the front. When I mentioned this to the ranger he told me that "6 hours to play 18 is pretty standard on the weekends" and didn't even try to do anything about it.
Infestation of wasps (or maybe hornets?) along multiple fairways, 1/3rd of tee boxes were "under repair" or simply patches of dirt, and at $83 for golf & cart, thats simply unacceptable
Rude Employees
One of the course rangers named Joy is a very horrible middle aged woman who harasses teenagers. She is unfair, horrible, irrational, and unprofessional. My friend and I who are 18 and 16 respectively were kicked off the course by this woman on hole 15. For no reason she assumed we teed off at noon when we had teed off at 4:30. She proceeded to prevent us from teeing off and forced us to play holes 17 and 18 WHILE TRAILING US and to get off the course. While we were on hole 18 she drove back to the pro shop and watched us from the window to make sure we finished. Despite being able to check the system for proof of our integrity she continued to insist that we had teed off at noon and were taking advantage of the course. She is a total nut job. Refuses to listen to reason and continues to lie. By far the most unprofessional distasteful treatment I have ever received on a golf course. This is not how you treat paying customers, let alone children.
